go spend the rest of the winter on Garage Journalcan you go deep? like a pit? almost 3m of height isn(t goood enough for a full size lift I can go up - I need to anyway because I want to ditch the asbestos roof prior to going solar. I can also remove existing concrete slabs. P.S. that forum looks quite amazing.

Are you sure it’s asbestos? One roof I had in Spain was a sort of compressed cement…

I have an eddy current roller dyno, wanted one for years. But when I finally found one, quickly realized the excessive noise running it would probably get me a prison sentence. Now I have the great enormous thing just sitting here, but am afraid to run it. I could never bring myself to sell it either. Oh well............ Interesting perspective I like the idea of them but I've done so much road tuning I just want them for the final bit. There's some cool road dyno tech out there now for determining power. I might start with that instead.

It might well be asbestos if its been there for a very long time. I believe they stopped making it decades ago.
Nothing really beats an eddy current dyno for holding constant speed and constant load for tuning each individual fuel and ignition cell.
