So February 2014 exactly a month after my 19th birthday and being let down by a seller, which when i look back had a bit of a lemon, i fb messaged a now great friend of mine, Ron at the flockshop, he told me he had a clean mk1 in silver that i could purchase. I went to see it and sure enough it was up on ramps and there was next to no rust visible. So with a loan from bank of Mum and Dad and exactly 6 months to pay it off i got myself a 5 The day i picked it up Shortly after i painted the wheels black. Then i purchased some cheap rota knockoffs. I then purchased and fitted HSDs. The car now. As the title suggests I'm on a minor quest to build the perfect fast road 5 and i currently don't know where it will take me but stay tuned for updates, its also worth mentioning the 20 thou head skim, decat and Cobalt exhaust system i have put on the car
