MK1 trackday car lowered (not excessivley) on coilovers. Looking at getting 15 inch wheels and cladding in 195/50/15 trackday (Nankangs probably or Federals).
I know stock 15 inch wheels are 6J et45, 4x100. Some wheels I'm looking at are 6.5J et35, I can't get my head round the offset and whether the variation in offset helps equalise the difference in width or makes it worse?
Anyway, would 6.5J et35's 'work'?
Many thanks.

In the pic in my signature below my car is fitted with 15x7 et 25 wheels with Federal 595 RSR on. No problems at all.

15 x 6.5 ET35 will be fine, even if you were exceptionally low. Mine are 15 x 7 ET30 and clear with plenty of space

I love posting this picture. These are 6.5"wide 15" wheels on 195/50 tyres. ET35. 5mm spacing rear, 10mm spacing front, all for calliper clearance rather than arch clearance - Bags of space...

Off to collect some 7J et38's today. If they are as described, hopefully a bit if a bargain. ?

Think I've done well here. Picked these up today, bar 1 kerb mark, almoast as new with 2x7mm and 2x5mm Toyo Proxes. Should spank them round Blyton next weekend on this;

Is that good or bad?

Anything under 13KG is good on 15"s in my book (14" and 13" wheels can get even lighter..)
It's very easy to get 15KG+ combos on 15"s wheels.

My track wheels 15kg's they're a bit wider though (and this was new DMACK's) But the grip is more important for me.
