15whp more than my 1.8 What am I doing wrong?! Nothing. Nick's always been surprised at the amount of power it puts out. It's more than most 1.8s running overlays and small pulleys. He also said he's never had to map so much fuel into one. Even without the intercooler and pulley when we first converted it we ran out of headroom on 1.8 injectors and had to rev limit it to 5,500rpm to save it melting pistons from running lean. It only makes 9psi of boost! With the 6 speed and 3.6 Torsen it goes like a stabbed rat.

Living the dream! I wonder if my charger chucks out enough air, the boost gauge says 8psi ish. I know Nick had to pull the timing on mine a fair bit so maybe that makes a big difference. Will have to have a think about how to fix that!

Got mine supercharged recently. It's MP62 charger with intercooler and MS3 tuned by Skuzzle The car is Mk2.5 sport, standard engine, power shown at the wheels Very nice - I bet that goes well !

Did Skuzzle do anything with the cam timing on this setup or are the Verniers for future use with the new cams ?

They're for future use with the cams, they're currently in the boot in a box.

Very nice - I bet that goes well ! Thank you. It does indeed, although I don't have much to compare to. I've never driven FI mx5 before. Unfortunately the novelty of extra power wears off pretty quickly and it feels normal again

I had no idea 1.6s were capable of that kind of output on SCs

See how straight that line is! 174 WHP at Skuzzle, TR Lane M45 Supercharger, 146/60 pulley combo, RX8 injectors, MS1. Next up cams. Love this.. Makes me want to supercharge mine instead of distant dreams of a turbo.. seems alot more straight forward!!
