Bought a bog standard UK 1.8 '94 in lovely Laguna Blue a few years ago now, not done too much in comparison to most of you lot. Wanted a fun & cheap RWD open topper for summer weekend fun and occasional trackdays. Never looked back....
New brake discs, braided hoses, and EBC Yellowstuff pads were fitted.
K&N Induction & tower strut brace fitted.
Then it was time for coilovers (bought off Almonds), new stainless steel exhaust from MX5 Parts and set up by Wheels In Motion at their optimum road height. Leave it up to them, they know what they're talking about!
Next was blood, sweat, and tears fitting the TR Lane roll bar.
Then a Sparco Sprint driver's seat with 6-point harnesses.
And the first track day at Brands Hatch we get a puncture.
But then it all makes sense:
