Saw this post a while ago so don't know if you're still after a tow bar, I don't personally have one but I guy I get the odd part from in Chelmsford has just got a mk1 in with one on. His name is Wayne Blackwell and he's posted pics on the nutz for sale pages etc.

No, the Mk2 came out in 98 or 99. Cannot legally have a towbar.
