So, i have managed to get hold of some dosh and decided to get a roll bar - something simple and usable that allows the roof to go up and down but offers more protection than the chrome style bar i currently have - but good value. i also want to keep it usable as a daily road car, no climbing in and out!!! Saw these on Nutz www.gcfabrications.co.ukAnyone got one of these?

They're the ones to get without a doubt.

I think a few on nutz have them ? (sorry) there are meant to be a GB there when the TR Lane one fell through. I've got a few bits of GC (harness bar, strut bar) and they are well made items and excellent quality for the price. The rollbars I see there won't make getting in or out the car any harder, unless your head looks like the alien's, but will obviously make raising of the roof a little bit harder (two stage process.. lol) If there are any problems it being harder to get in, lose some weight or get a quick release (I did the latter, still working on the former.. )

I have a GC1 with the diagonal. Perfect build quality with flawless welds - wouldn't hesitate to recommend one. I did up instructions for Grant from the pics taken off his FB page. Feel free to have a look here: egewebdesign.co.uk/docs/GCFabricationsRollBarFitting.pdf It'll give you an idea of what's involved.

I have a GCF3, the one with the cross bracing. Really well made, and the powdercoating stands up pretty well
