And I ask specifically the Eunos one as I wonder if the Eunos differs from the UK mk1 1.6 or if it differs from the UK 1.8, from the mk2 or any of their variants and so on. I always thought that the Eunos had a 10 gallon tank but every time I fill up (normally when the fuel needle nudges the wrong side of empty) I'm only fitting 35-ish litres in which makes me think it's a 40 litre tank. Any thoughts on this...?

I'm fairly sure all of the mk1s/mk2s are 45ltrs
correction, the 1.6s are 45, the 1.8s might be 48.

I've got it written down that mine (1.8) is 48l, fairly sure I've put about 45l in it before, which is a bit too close if they are 45 hahah

When I ran out of fuel, I filled to the top and it was 45 on a 1.6 eunos

That's pretty much what my calculations worked out as - I can pretty much get my needly entirely to the left of the E and still be going  although as mentioned in another thread, if it coughs you might only have half a mile before it dies... I think the most I've filled up with is about low-40s litres - I guess a 60 mile 'reserve' below the E mark is to cover those being driven in America (where it was designed IIRC?), where distances between petrol stations are a lot larger, I imagine! |

the worrying thing about these 10 gallon fuel tanks is that they empty after about 190-210 miles!!! Glad ive got my Jags for economy  D |

The most I've ever filled up is 43 litres so I was clearly pretty close! I was convinced I was about to be stranded on the hard shoulder though so I was doing 50 in the slow lane of the M4  |
