My glove box refused to stop rattling. Despite some good ideas about filling it up, fiddling with hinges and locks. So I removed it and ditched all the steel supports and gubbins hidden behind. Then I had an idea. I cut out a large opening so I can turn it into a fixed shelf / pocket with zero moving parts to rattle. GB by s_worksair, on Flickr

Will do. I'll try and use the original dash holes for mounting it (where some grommets were). Hopefully in the morning...

In situ... water by s_worksair, on Flickr I can just reach over and grab my water bottle now. The hole is large enough to make that easy enough. I have driven all over the place and it hasn't fallen out or been an issue at all. So it works for me!

I like that.
May suit a little netting, too.

I pretty much leave my windows down the whole time anyway. Looks cooler and is way more fun
