The MX5 parts and Moss items look very expensive for a narrow strip of abs plastic! Does anyone sell these for a sensible price? Which one is everyone using?

Seem to remember standard parts from other makes of car can be adapted to fit, rather than buying an expensive mx5 specific part. Renaults maybe?

Try Japstyle.org they have a standard lip, a GV lip and one of their own too. They normally have a group buy knocking about too

Thanks. I found a japstyle one on eBay. They mention polyurethane being more hard wearing than abs or fibreglass so that makes sense to me. This is £82.
Or I found an RS style one from seller Doctormx5 for £117 which is getting pricey, although it comes with brake vents.
Is there much difference between them?

I've got a gv style one from japstyle. Been on for about a year and it's hit many roads coming off speed bumps

they definitely change the look of the front - the garage vary is a bit more attention-grabbing, the r package lip is a bit cleaner and but gets less attention.
I'd guess the garage vary one has a bigger effect... but without measuring, that is pure speculation.
In either case they both clean up the front bumper's looks and finish it off the way it should have been.

I want a smaller diameter with a thicker rim. After swapping cars with wannabe last night it confirmed it 100%

330mm Nardi Classic - possibly the greatest looking wheel ever made and suits the car perfectly. I love mine Not chunky though... Svelte
