That Beirut explosion in slow and sllooowwweeerrr motion. It doesn't really make a different TBH - one frame, fine. Next frame, massive fireball Makes a mockery of all those 'slow-mo' explosions in films where people are diving for cover. In reality you'd be a red mist before you could even blink... You can see the window frames being blown out of the far side of the building (from the explosion) in the bottom middle

This is cool, lol. Total lack of space under the bonnet, Boot mounted rad, 6-pot callipers, 300mm discs... This has Zed. written all over it

A much maligned vehicle, 😜 My son had one as his first car, he learnt about mechanics keeping it on the road , it had adjustable ball joints on the front suspension, when they got sloppy we used to strip them down and grind (lap) a bit off the nut to take up the slack.... Boundless joy, no synchro in 2nd so he learnt how to double de clutch.

A much maligned vehicle, 😜 Weren't they more aerodynamic going backwards than forwards? lol In an age of base spec Audis with lots of shiny bits on them at £300/month PCPs, I am increasing drawn to old tat with 'character'

Frame interpolation from 15 to 60 fps... this is quite impressive.

Frame interpolation from 15 to 60 fps... this is quite impressive. YouTuber "Dutchsteammachine" has taken all the low frame rate Apollo 16mm films and produced cleaned up and stabilised versions, interpolated to higher frame rates. They're amazing.

I stumbled on those on Youtube the other day and was thinking 'I didn't realise they had 60fps that long ago?' lol Pretty amazing stuff. With that and the progress of CGI, it seems like we're going to end up being unsure of what is real and what is not!
