Yeah I'm more of a "90/00s jap shed" and "cars, track and coffee" kinda guy I'm very sure the money they make often doesn't come easy and they have probably failed a number of times to get there, so if it brings them joy then fine by me. The only thing sad about todays car culture is the idea of just being first, regardless of whether its good, fun, innovative etc etc... buying a car on paper numbers....infact its not just car culture, its just the current throwaway culture, an example being no one needs a ps5 but people are paying way over the odds for something 3 generations back would be slated for not having any big release titles.... for the simple fact they can say "I got one"...so yeah Canoe waving on every level.

WOW @ EJ MRS.
As for super rich car guys, idk - I just see ultra corrupt people who haven't wiped their own ass in several generations and a few folks who actually made it themselves and know where the bogroll is (jay leno?)

There is now a main bearing support plate for the B6 engine... http://instagr.am/p/CIXBxJZnL3d This was something introduced originally only on the late model 1.8s :-) as a guess, thats from a later 323 or similar, the fwd engines are further evolutions of the B6 engine... might find this doesn't fit with the mx5's B6ZE(RS) sump as theres a step / recess in the seal face for the windage tray & it isn't full length. also, may find that the Mx5's B6ZE(RS) engine's main bearing caps are a different hight so either interfere with that tray or would need spacers making to work (& also, thin tin with spotwelded construction is not well known as a structural / strengthening for the use in a "main bearing support" to strengthen I'd expect a thicker 'ladder' type frame ) Rich.

I bloody knew it!
It's now been proven. Any F1 driver can be a world champion if they get their ar*e iin a Mercedes F1 car.
Russell has shown this in no uncertain way. Comes from the very back of the grid gets into a car that neither fits him or he has raced before. Has very limited F1 race experience and is 0.026 of a second behind Bottas ffs.
And that's what grinds my gears about F1 in the last few years.

And that's what grinds my gears about F1 in the last few years. He did manage to be GP3 and GP2 champ, so the lad does have some tallent to go with it, but he hasn't an F1 title yet so don't get ahead of yourself after one qually. Yes the margin isn't that big when you have the fastest car but what you have to remember is LH has been around since 2008 and been consistently scoring points since. Fast cars and talent don't make you a champ, consistency and managing risk in a race is far more important (go back and watch the Senna and Prost rivalry and see how prost becomes champ in 1989 with Senna being the fast driver in the team.) Its not just the last few years, its always been like this... fast car + fast, consisent driver = champ. Schu was the same, you can't take away that a handful of these drivers just have an alien level of skill which bumps them slightly above other highly talented drivers.
