I do love a bit of Floyd. Shame I'm too young to have ever seen them live. My mother did, a few times, and I'm envious of her!

My mother did, a few times, and I'm envious of her! well, they (admittedly seperately) were touring last year, I get the feeling that there might be the odd re-union gig as they are getting older & aparently have started talking again after nearly 40 years obviously if they did a few concerts they would be sold-out instantly for HUGE ticket prices if they do release dates I'm selling everything to afford tickets Rich. (born 20 years too late)

There won't be another Floyd tour now that Rick Wright is no longer alive, sadly. Meanwhile, Nick Mason's Saucer Full of Serets tour is well worth catching, if he does it again. I was lucky enough to have been on the crew for both Roger Waters in 1984 (Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking) and the last Floyd tour, the Division Bell, in 1994. Happy days.

That must have been incredible. It was. The Floyd tour was my last, after 20 years on the road I needed a change. Despite me getting quite jaded over the years, the Division Bell was a stunning show, with perfect sound and visuals. At some venues, we played two days running, and the first of the two shows featured the entire Dark Side of the Moon, including the bomber crashing into the stage. A great way to bow out. The Roger Waters gig was very complex, it was before vid walls etc, and we had to cart 3 very fragile cinema projectors around. Waters' band was pretty hot - Clapton on guitar, Michael Kamen keys, Andy Newmark drums, Tim Renwick guitar, Chris Stainton keys and bass, Katie Kissoon and Doreen Chanter on BVs.
