Anyone got any decent suggestions for a helmet thats not silly money and approved for track days? I'm assuming there will be lids for hire on the day but just wondering if it might be better to bring my own. I sold my old lid on which was open face anyway so don't have anything at the mo. Any old helmet will do for a trackday, doesn't need to be FIA rated or anything. Usually for an open top car you'd need a full face helmet as you guessed. |

It was amazing as always! Great track time and it's so nice to catch up with regulars and meet new mx5 gearheads  Sorry, no media from me. I just enjoyed good vibes off track and good action on the track. Thanks, Nick, for organizing this! |

There were a good amount of mk1's there and a handful of mk2's, as well as a chap called Chris in the black and kevlar one, there was a very nice silver 2.5rs that I missed. The Cap was driven by a chap called Joe, Nick managed to blag a drive in that so he'll be able to tell you more. Yeah Joe’s Capo is wicked. He’s a bunch of 5s but is now a dedicated Kei Car man. It can’t remember the mods but it’s tweaked and running R888rs. It’s a bloody hoot!
Thanks to you all for coming and making it a pleasure to put on. It’s worth the effort when I see everyone having such a good time and all the grins. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.
