Watched Noah with Russell Crowe on Tuesday. Could have been more entertaining than it was, 5/10 for me.
Also watched the final instalment of The Hunger Games at the weekend. Nice to round off the series, and I liked the twist at the end, but it felt a bit rushed and like they'd left a lot unsaid. 6/10 for me.
Some great films mentioned above, I'll watch anything except horror movies. Just don't get them.

Watched Batman V Superman this week. Still not quite sure if I liked it...
Batfleck wasn't actually that bad. Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman had me concerned also. But she smacked it! Probably because she didn't have 2 hours of brooding sad face. Probably 5/10. Wouldn't pay to see it again

Just seen Batman vs Superman and it's a swing and a miss for me. Spent a lot of time waiting for things to happen and when they did I was tired of waiting (it is a long film). A good film but Marvel are knocking out some great films and that is the yardstick. Gal Gadot was the best thing about it but not enough of her.
Now; Eddie the Eagle. I wonder...

I watched The Voices yesterday, starring Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick. Not what I was expecting at all. If you thought No Country For Old Men was comedy gold, you might just like this...

Only God Forgives
Amazingly shot, great sound, draws you in really well.
Wasn't keen on the gory bits but then I'm not keen on them in any film really!
I recommend.

Looks so much better than Ep7. I like the darker tone along with the idea of a story in the star wars universe thats not about the main character set

I tried the new star wars.... soooooo baaaaaad. ep7 was like harry potter in space, only without the acting talent to back it up, or any meaningful pacing.

I loved EPVII, it had it's faults but disney had to play it safe to reboot the franchise. I'm excited for Rouge One and I think that EPVIII and IX will please the critics of VII.

I loved EPVII, it had it's faults but disney had to play it safe to reboot the franchise. I'm excited for Rouge One and I think that EPVIII and IX will please the critics of VII. After the reception surrounding the prequels, I didn't exactly blame Disney for rebooting IV and I thought that they did a good enough job. And, after all, it had been nearly 40yrs since the original so maybe it was due. There were enough 'goosebump' moments in it to really enthuse young and older generations alike IMHO. But what Disney have here now is a whole world of branch or sub-plots to turn into. They do have the ability here to create a new world, new characters, appeal to the darker side or the light-hearted. The options available to Disney right now is mind-boggling...
