Hi all
I've started a few seat related threads as my ideas have shifted. However, having just done a foamectomy on my standard mk1 g-ltd seats, I'm not convinced this is a long term solution.
So what is the lowest seat option in a mk1 without welding in a new floor?
I've recently bought a motomec mrx seat with skidnation side rails from bofi racing, but sent them back as I found the combination sat higher than standard.
So I'm now open to any ideas!
For ref, I'm 6'2" and skinny...

people chop the mount-blisters from the floor then mount directly, looses the standard adjustability but is the lowest possible without major surgery... Rich. (following but 5'10 & fat )

I'm currently looking at an Elise style seat with hard mounts...

Can't say I have an issue with the SPG on Tuckin99/Maruha sliding rails. Had to bash the floor just a little bit to fit it in the lowest setting otherwise the sliders would be rendered useless though. Head is below the roll bar at least.
Then again, I'm just a 6'1" manlet so its a bit harder for taller folk I guess:D.
