I have a dash cam. Some of you must have a dash cam?
I see funny stuff happen.
I also see annoying things happen.
I also catch audi/Tailgate McNoIndicate dickheads doing audi/Tailgate McNoIndicate dickhead things.
I'll kick things off with this video. Happened less than 10 minutes from home on the journey back from the Mighty5s meet.

To be honest. I wouldn't recommend the one I've got. It works fine most of the time, occasionally turns itself off and the quality is in no way HD as it was advertised as! My gf's one is way better and is one of these. Also heard good things on the mobius cam |

Mobius is a decent shout although, if you want/need one with a display then the Mini 0803 does a decent job - especially in low light. Benefit of the mobius is that you can get an extension lead for the lens.
If you're after any sort of dashcam then give Techmoan a look on YT. Does very in-depth reviews of a lot of dashcams/action cams that hits the market.
Has anyone found a decent dashcam incorporated into the rear view mirror? Lots of chop socky cams on the bay but not so many reviews...

My, my, my, coincidence abound. Today I began the install of a Mobius into my daughter's car. I say began because I ordered a 3m power cable & 12v usb socket which I need to run it. I also had to cut a little wedge to get the correct angle for mounting the camera at the top of the windscreen (used an oblong rubber chair leg protector which was just the right size in case anyone is interested). They are good little cameras. Good value, good picture, and while you can buy them direct from China on fleabay, there is a UK dealer LINK who aren't really that much more expensive and offer a good range of spares. |

Yup, they did Canoe all. So I forwarded the video to BEAR Scotland, who maintain the roads up there. They said they were aware of the damage (the lorry takes out a load of the side markers) and were pursuing Argos for money. All I wanted was a voucher and an apology!

I have one of these in my 5: A118 B40 Novatek 96650 AR0330I've been pretty happy with it so far, never lost any footage, and the quality is clear enough to read numberplates easily both during the day or at night. Here's some example footage I took a couple of weekends ago (nothing interesting happens by the way!). The image quality is actually better than it looks here, all the pixelation you can see here is from YouTube, not the camera. Also the rattling sound you can hear is because I had accidentally dislodged the camera from the plinth that attaches to the windscreen. It's designed to clip in and out easily so you can remove the camera for security purposes. Anyway, might be useful info for someone looking at dashcams. As Ghostrider mentioned, I can also recommend Techmoan on YouTube - he has reviewed loads of cameras on there and is where I found out about mine. Also, if you're interested in that sort of thing he also does reviews on old hifi tech which are pretty entertaining. |

I've seen tyre tracks across the middle of the roundabout and a Merc with its rear canoe sticking out of the greenery on the left of the exit having made it over anti-traveller embankment, as well as a bus impaled on the sleepers on the right of the exit on the central reservation. It's also an oily bugger of a roundabout and had my first moment in my Caterham on it on a wet July evening. I don't drive very often, but I do see some interesting driving... It's a prerequisite of living in my area that you have to be terrible at driving. Will definitely take a look at that Möbius... |

I was on my way to Dartford from Chessington for my training. I'd done this road many times. Quite a good time to test your 0-60. Which is probably why there are all the above lol |
