You're not wrong Nick. Ronin's not got all the bits he needs under the bonnet where they are meant to be at the moment. I'll be bringing the Cup out and about for a while.

Soooo. After a lengthy delay, I've finally sorted Ronin. RX8 injectors are in, new base tune established (Best idle I've had for years), dash dismantled and reconstructed stronger. Reinsured him on Wednesday and MoT is booked on Tuesday. Back in the game Hope to catch up with everyone at the next Bracknell and Sussex meets!

Excellent!
Looking forward to seeing a few more snaps, and all the best for the MOT.

Dammit. I think my heater matrix is borked.
Car full of condensation, drivers foot well is soaking wet and car is losing coolant.

Is access any easier with your unique dash?
Is it right MK2 cores are better and will fit with mods to the MK1 heater box?

Access no easier but I can have the dash out in 20mins so not going to bother trying to do it with it all in situ.
Found replacement copper matrix's online for £60 so will get one of those, rather than a second hand unit or pay the £260 that MX5 Parts want for an OE one.

2 hr drive in my car yesterday has got my mojo fully recharged. Reminded me why I've had this car 12 years now and have put all the effort in.
Coolant change this afternoon, once I've had a roast and can drag myself away from the log fire!
Oh, and I've ordered light units (bulb versions, not LED) for my Garage Vary style rear panel, so that will finally get fitted (Its been sitting in the garage for two years)!
Happy days. #roadsterlife
