Holy wow that 968 is beautiful, having just done master and slave in this weather I definitely feel your pain.

After leaving Ronin standing for two months I finally had a flurry of activity today and changed out the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and installed a new Goodrich braided hose between them.
Battery is on charge and once I've scrubbed the interior to remove the surface mould (nice), I'm hoping he'll be roadworthy again.
Looks like my RevLimiter gauge faces are toast again though. They don't like the damp 😢
The rest of the day was spent making some low access car ramps and investigating where in its system my 968 decided to dump all its power steering fluid from (turns out to be the high pressure hose between the pump and rack).

which version of adam's gauges were they ? (derp)
leave some roller towels in your car mate.. saves on the damps.

Custom 'Ronin' Warbirds. Second set that have been ruined by damp. 😞

Got home last night and reconnected the battery which had been charging using my Ctek trickle charger for 24hrs.
Jumped in car. Ignition on, pumped whirrs away. Hit start button. . .
Nothing.
At all .
Checked all leads twice tried again. Still dead.
What a pain in the rear canoe.

Well, it seems like the battery is a gonner. That's the 4th Westco AGM battery I've shelled out for in the last 10yrs. Never again.
I've decided to go with a trusty Bosch (a relabeled Varta) S4 'wet cell' 063 this time.
Not bad at £48 delivered. Hopefully I will then be able to fire Ronin up again.

Westco = Overpriced and crap spec. Bosch much higher Amp Hours and cranking capacity for just over 1/3 of the price.

Apologies to all that have followed my Ronin build thread through the years.
I finally got sick of Photobucket, their prarrie canoety service and criminal business practices so have pulled the plug, downloaded my thousands of photos hosted with them and deleted my account. This has obviously had a catastrophic affect on all of my various car forum threads and contributions going back 13 years. I will rebuild a summary thread of my builds and car histories on each forum trying to cover the salient points over the years as soon as I have sorted out some more hosting.
In the meantime if you need a photo reference that's now missing for any content in my thread to help with your build please PM me and I will be happy to provide it.
Drew (OPM)

Ronin resurrection time. Tuned a stable idle this evening and have new tyres being fitted tomorrow. Going to get him back on the road and then booked in to Skuzzle for that loooooooong overdue rolling road tune. It's time to finally find out how much power we can squeeze out of my set-up. Jackson Racing Supercharger, 425cc injectors, 150mm crank overlay, OTR intercooler, MS2 and Innovate CF-2 wideband.

hey - for some reason your thread dropped off my follow list. Good to see Ronin is back out again.
And Canoe you for buying a DS. I absolutely love them. When we go to france, i seem to find and moon over them the entire time. A DS or a Peugeot 505 would scratch my big french car itch.
