Need to get something off your chest? Something really ground your gears? Post below.
I shall begin; MOT is booked on my van tomorrow morning, autoglass were supposed to change the screen at some point during a 5 hour window this afternoon. Haven't shown up, haven't let me know they aren't coming. unts with a capital C.

Angry with myself. Just aching allover and don't know what to do about it. I know I need to loose weight which is surely going to help but I banged my elbow quite hard on something a while back and it doesn't seem to be fixed yet. Got gout in my feet and on Saturday my knee just gave way and feels sprained now.
I feel like I'm 60 not 29.
On the upside, I've lost 3kg in a few weeks without any major drama.

Gout is a canoe, I feel your pain, literally. I find drinking lots of water helps to keep it at bay, like a canoe load, I'm at around 4-5ltrs per day. If I miss a couple of days I get a twinge and a couple more days and it really kicks in.

Well done on the weight loss so far though! Stick at it

guitarjon, have you tried pilates or yoga? They are very gentle on the joints and can help relieve the aches. Get the aches sorted and the motivation will come back. I also like the Tracey Anderson workout videos, but just to watch Can't help with the gout I'm afraid but I understand red meat and wine is not good for it. My Bride Exas is my motivation to lose a few pounds, it's tight! Anyway. Back to the anger. Been a crazy busy week at work, and I was working late yesterday. At 2315 one of the top brass starts moaning that I haven't done something yet and it would be useful to have it now. So I did it. I finished at 0130 but it got done. I hope his phone buzzed and woke him up. He did apologise though which is a first. Then I was up early for a breakfast meeting, at which I was presenting. We were told to present an example of best practice, so I did, but everyone else ignored that and just blew their own trumpets. So I looked like a Canoe. Thanks guys. I'm too tired to be angry. I really want to work for myself now, I just cannot deal with company politics.

I'm also pretty angry that I'm out of shape! Used to be very much the opposite highly gym obsessive and was there 5-6times a week with a stupidly strict diet, got to a pretty good point in terms of strength for my body weight before destroying my shoulder 18months ago. It killed all motivation and has left me steadily declining, its hard to watch but at the same time it now feels like after spending 2-3years getting to where I was before its all undone and I just can't find the motivation to get back to it (I wouldn't actually want to go all the way back, I wasn't drinking any delicious beers or eating pizzas and having started doing this again I think the obsessive level of dieting was really making me a miserable/very boring to be around!)
Angry I didn't maintain a level of fitness despite being unable to shift weights.
Jon- if you get to a point where you feel up to it I personally find weights a great way to stay in shape, you can really see the progression and it doesn't feel quite so much like your internal organs are about to explode! It isn't for everyone, but if it tickled your fancy I would highly recommend it.

I'm angry at myself. I somehow managed to not see an email for a job interview for today. WTF? I'm a nerd and always on my damn phone!

Just paid a US medical bill. Too small to be worth claiming via insurance (it's 10 quid over the excess). The lady on the other end of the call was the dumbest, most disinterested woman I've ever spoken with.

Zip merges made me angry today. I thought we British were meant to be good at queuing and being polite? Why do so many then have to engage hulk mode at every single one. Must we really fight to the death to gain a car length or two? Really? When the road opens up again immediately and everyone can reshuffle again? Seriously? Oh fine, you have it, but I wish you knew how much I hate you. Knut. Grr.

Standing on a platform at London Bridge and some fool just walked in to me. I wouldn't mind except there was a good 10ft of gap for her to squeeze through. Silly bint.

Green breakdown cover / KwikFit are trying the usual tactic - renewal price double the previous year's price having not made any claims.
Now on the phone to the canoes.
Lulz.

Grr. Clients trying to subcontract and subcontract and subcontract until they get to me and seem to think I'd be happy to do £150 including expenses for a day's work in Edinburgh? The usual day rate is at £1000 plus expenses, plus a charge for the day travel there and day travel back!
"But they want this doing every six months so you have to think of the on going business"....?! With fuel, consumables and overnights I'd be losing £250 for my 3 days on the job ffs!
