Interesting... Well the wire to the rev counter must carry some sort of signal, I can't imagine it's massively different to any other rev counter... I'd say I'll try it first but I usually take years to get round to anything!  |

Surely even on a 1.8 there is still a pulsed signal to the gauge? Even if you you would be able to get a pulsed digital signal from the crank one way or another I'm sure, just a bit more messing about!

Just heard back from DRE. Any colour combo is fine, just not white as they're a pain in the rear canoe apparently (not sure why you'd want white on a shift light anyway!). I would highly recommend GGAAR though  |

wondering what would be a good colour combo. I guess green/amber/red are probably the best ones for peripheral vision.

I was thinking of GGBBR, but I wasn't sure, just figured it would be a little easier to notice the red if the previous LED was blue!
