Nice one Tim. That's the magic 5 needed for a discount! Can we make it 15?
No Mazda specific documentation as far as I am aware, but in theory for a mk1 the three wires coming from the tacho should be:
Black - earth
Black with yellow stripe - gauge power (Ign switched)
Yellow with blue stripe - coil signal
Tap the relevant wires from the DRE unit in to each of those and off you go.

Cool cool TBF the reason i ask is that when i was looking at units like the Omex jobbies, they can't be wired to a 1.8 due to them allegedly needing a coil signal. |
