Yeah, I agree tsi's, vented headlight and bonnet vents is a bit too much! It's funny, my dad convinced my mum to get a Tailgate McNoIndicate Mini Cooper S and he's taken all the chrome off of it, the exact opposite to the mx5. I have no vents or chrome on my mx5 Each to their own... Definitely interested in more pics when you do more painting. I am a sucker for red interiors - mk2 one is interesting. |

Not a particularly exciting update . Wired in a third brake light into the hardtop as the ducktail bootlid removed it. Pretty simple job of feeding a wire through to the boot and soldered back on to the existing third brake light loom.  Also wired in a rear fog light,  bit prarrie canoe sticking out like that didn't have any drill bits bit enough to make it fit flush. |

Yesss....
It was cheap and doesn't have the rear mounts. Got some permanent hardtop brackets on it instead of the clippy stock ones. Seems to work fine. Was using the hardtop on my car for a week and no issues

Update! This is how the car now sits. And is likely to be it's final form.    Some team dynamics wheels and new tyres. Also wired in an airhorn, which sounds awful lol |
