Sorted out wonky alignment on rear left. Replaced ABS sensor. Now drives straight and TCS etc work. Front right tyre/bearing still making noises though.

I blew out some cobwebs ragging it around an unseasonably dry and sunny South Hams MC Autosolo event at Smeatharpe . Previous years have apparently experienced horizontal rain and Portaloos being blown along the old runway. Tried out my Xmas prezzie of a little GoPro type camera, and got some wonderful footage of the inside of my Hiviz coat, the sky - when it was led on the centre console and finally 5 mins of being sat on the starting line, including the countdown 3,2,1 and...... cut. Hey ho, must rtfm before the next event at Kemble in March.

Actually drove it for the first time in two months, after charging the battery and refitting the standard lights, but with yellow bulbs....not sure what I think of them, I think it makes it harder for people to see me. Could be time for some LED's!

My bonnet cover - it fits so it sits.

Trying to compress the front suspension before tightening up the bolts, it just wouldn't quite sit down with jacks under the wishbones directly below the shocks.
And I can't use my own weight to compress it while also tightening bolts, so I put some timber on the front slam panel then a sleeper from there to the shock tower brace and a couple of wheels on top of that and another two wheels on either side and then balanced my biggest jack, which I can barely lift, on the front of the sleeper and finally heaped up a few 5l jugs of engine oil/brake fluid/coolant for good measure.
Looked stupid but it gained me that extra cm of compression.
But now I'm wondering what I did wrong because it seems like jobs like this never used to be this difficult.

bought a pipe-cutter, I'm bored of using a hacksaw for exhaust work (& getting 'odd' cuts!) so looked for a 'proper cutter like I've used in industry, ebay again costing me found an old 'Record' brand cutter with a maximum pipe size of 3" lovely old thing, made in 1945 so from 'real' metal (recycled Tigertank maybe?) just the thing as I'm making an exhaust for the '91 Eunos as I'm bored with the Cobalt item Rich.

Getting serious tool envy looking at that. Glorious.

Alignment bolts, 2 down 6 to go! They're all the old D shape so they've never been changed and are all seized (thankfully not fused to the bushes). Bought a bigger breaker bar.

Bought a bigger breaker bar. when I stripped the rear on my '91, 3 of the 4 bolts snapped.... R-soles made new (temporary) ones from SS bolts, machined the 'flats' & theyre still there 18 months later...... I do have a full set of (8) but saving for the subframe swops... Rich.

I've got 8 replacement bolts, so far the one that snapped was the easiest! Using copper grease putting them back in, they better not seize again!
