It will be fiine. Just get high Where are you from corders? I keep passing a car with the same paint job as yours but swear it's not you. I do that awkward stare and "is it him?" Every time. canoe just drives past ignoring me... Ballbag It seems corder's is either A) everywhere right now ( i saw a similar car on a46) or B) has been impersonated in car form to a very high standard. Plagiarism

I am excited about some small parts arriving. Just paid the import taxes on my M2 mirrors from Japan. They are arriving tomorrow. Woop! I may have the bug for finding parts. My girl will just think I am mental. Or sad. Maybe both. Note to self: Burn the invoice / evidence upon arrival

No no no, you have to put it in the back of the wardrobe and hide the receipt in the car folder with the MOTs etc - then, when she asks if it's new when you get it out to fit it, you can say "Oh, this? I've had it for ages, it's just been in the back of the wardrobe" like they always do about new shoes and handbags lol Hope you washed that out thoroughly - I think it eats your eyeballs!! Yes, it was only a tiny bit. I made an eye wash out of an old lucozade bottle and rinsed my eyes out. Good good! I always fear getting something like screenwash in my eyes from someone passing on the other side of the road with misaligned washer jets - large bottles of water are always in the car just in case! (which also double as radiator-fillers in a Worst Case Scenario lol)

Just managed to find some black leather seats tonight. They are the later mk2 versions with heaters. They look to be in very tidy condition. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow or sunday. Another mini mission finished.

got to say.. the recirc does make the turbo a bit quieter and pidgeony... much less.... less liable, when you pass some kids on pedal bikes and happen to take your foot off the throttle, to cause one of them to shout "BOOSTED!"

Did a track day at Donington Park. We were the slowest car there but unquestionably did the most laps and maybe had the most fun.
The next 'slowest' cars to us on track were Caterham R300's there was a full on race prepped supercharged Lotus Evora with slicks about 2 feet wide which was absolutely ridiculously fast!

Being fast in a Trackday is the be all and end all, having fun is the key. The only time I get frustrated in a standard 5 is when it's day with lots of really fast stuff and you spend the whole day looking in your mirrors to make sure you're not ruining someone else's day. To be fair though a well peddled 5 can punch well above its weight.

When I did my first track day, I pretty much had a flag waving at me the whole time, reminding me to let people overtake cause I was so slow.
