Found out a 195 tyre and rim wont fit in the boot!
Some ars*hole white van driver squeezed us tight against the bankside down a narrow country lane on the way back from Goodwood.
Fifty mtrs later and the tyres fouling the bodywork - slit in side-wall!!
Fortunately keep the space-saver in the boot so limped home with the dead tyre/rim strapped to the roll cage.
Was prevaricating about buying a couple of new rear tyres anyway so decision made for me.
Note to self - keep gloves in the boot & rachet strap to tie dead wheel/tyre to boot lid - can't strap it onto roll-cage if the hoods up and/or hissing down with rain....

Drove it hard, and a lot yesterday. Picked up my friend from Gatwick then drove to a wedding in Ruislip. M25 and M23 were both completely buggered. So *HAD* to take the fun route instead. Made it to the wedding just as the bride was arriving!
Temp gauge moved a little to the right when stuck in traffic and got proper paranoid. NOT NOW NOT NOW! Luckily got moving and was fine! Canoe!

Cleaned it. And installed new seats from kinki. Before  After  Then went for coffee with some friends and found a great parking spot  |

Needs its replacement CAS fotted and adjusted then airbox put back on and interior put back together

Bought his big brother, if horney and Roger can have their jimneys I'm having this I went the other way... From RX7's to MX5's  I miss the sound and the bonkers speed mine had, but strangely I don't miss owning one. I might go back to them one day. They are epic.  |
