Went for a drive as a break from working on my dissertation, seemingly picked the only point in the day where the sun went in, typical.

Drove it properly for the first time ever. Bearing in mind I've had it since Jan 9th it felt like a fairly momentous occasion.
Prior to driving it I made a mess liberally dousing as many of the cavities as I could with dynax s50. Then refitted the plastics underneath and gave it a much needed wash!

Been up in London all weekend and just seen storm Kate has hit, footage on the news in London is showing "the devastation" and Gosport popped up, not just Gosport but only the small car park where mines been for a few days... Hoping it's all ok or some damage repair may be in order; gulp!

Hope cars ok. Saw the pictures on various Facebook posts this morning, we got hit quite badly here, see a lot of blown over stuff this morning on way to work.

Fingers crossed for the car. We had a tree come down on our wall, fortunately no damage to the house, but it looks like we'll need to replace the wall. It did mean I got to spend an enjoyable morning with the chainsaw though! All of these shenanigans meant my part collecting was delayed until the evening but long story short, after sitting in lots of traffic, I picked up a Bride Exas iii with glitter back

turned out pretty well considering an entire roof came down in the other end of the car park and the car in front of mine had a few roof tiles land on his car.
my drivers' side mirror was pointing forwards and a bit of damage to the windscreen (not cracked or anything)

Parked up here waiting for an appointment. Noticed the awful parking skills of the locals while waiting. So parked right up to the line. Could almost fit a smart car in there!

Fitted a rear facing camera. I wouldn't have bothered but it came free with my head unit from ebay. Really Canoeing fiddly getting a wire from the front to the back in a NC folding hardtop car it turns out. Also really fiddly getting the wires through the tube by the boot hinge ... the whole thing was really fiddly. Oh and it turns out if you raise and lower the roof a load of times it drains the battery on my car ... was lucky not to need to call the AA. Bit of soldering and a 3D printed bracket and I can now see backwards. Should be excellent for watching Horney disappear on the trackday videos

Ordered new wheels yesterday, felt smug all day today seeing the price has gone up £80 overnight.
Thought about doing my front upper wishbones. Still thinking.

Started putting these on. The oil drain is a work of art. The rest is pretty boring...
