received a key blank from mx5city!
shame it was meant to be some cat gaskets
mr mx5city apparently got 2 labels mixed up and is letting me keep my blank key, while sending another lot of gaskets
very pleased with how the situation was solved!

Opened the passenger door and had one of the 3D printed door bushes shatter and then noticed some bubbling on the sill, so looks like time to get the grinder back out...

Drove to halfords, bought a tube of autosol and some cloths, polished about 1" of one wheel lip and decided it would work OK, bought a Whopper with cheese, ate whopper, went back to work with very dirty wheels apart from one small shinny bit.

Drove an hour to my parents (day off) to do some work to my dads car. Left my door keys in parents front door cause dog will get out if it's on the latch.
Door closes with a gust of wind behind me and crunches on my keys. And guess what? The only one it crunched on was my car key. Ffs! Yay bent key. Try bending it flat and it looks like it will just get stuck in my ignition. So. Two hour round trip back home to get my spare in a crappy corsa. Wasn't allowed to drive the mini cooper s cause apparently I'll crash it?!?

I carefully positioned a step ladder at the side of it so I could put MOAR LIGHTS in my garage. I installed an additional double fluorescent tube unit. For those of you who may be interested in the specifics, this was on the drivers side of the car. Of course I reverse into the garage so you know the side I mean.

Went for a nice drive down to some pub near brooklands. The gf approves of the mk2 windblocker. Used to complain of the wind messing her hair. Tried going to brooklands museum but turned out it was too late to enter. Parked it next to an ND though

Swapped the passenger door, the mirror post broke when I was adjusting it. canoe. Nick, I think I have one of the kits from autolink to fix it. I'm sure when Jayne's broke I bought two. If I find it I can bring it tomorrow? If I do have one that is...
