That is definitely it on spending for the year, well if I can stay off ebay etc

Sold the spare one on my last car. I reckon a zoom filler cap would make a good Xmas pressie....

Finished deleting my ac by replacing the condenser with the flexi pipe I picked up at the weekend, only took me three years to get round to it.
Saved a few grams, every little helps!

Looked at it up on the axle stands, thought about trying to fix it and walked away

Got it a little playmate (little as in 1.6), fostered from a broken home but it may be adopted in the longer term...
Haven't been able to have good look at it as it's p'ing down here, but it looks quite tidy and drives well.

Still very stuck on if I should put money into my current Mk1 now its got another years MOT, or keep it ticking along until I find a nice 2.5....
Regardless, new job, means new commute, which means 2+ hours a day in the car, with dodgey speakers.
Ripped the ones ones out and put a pair of Vibe 6.5'' cheapos from Halfords in, the previous owners wiring was a Canoeing state, but its all tidied and functional for now, until I I decide properly what I want to do...

yesterday... ACF50'd the sills and rear quarter undersides. Sorted out the left hand hood drain tube. Replaced the crusty fasteners that hide the drain tube exit (had to grind one off.. ooer) . Emptied the catch can ....
today went and had a look at tom/(@singlering)'s newly turbo'd car to check problems on his.. sexy manifold but much oil leakerage.
