Different front bumper! Do I win a prize Your car is one of the reasons I love the aizawa bumper so much, the new one on Alex's was mine but I felt it deserves a place on a true aizawa roadster

You are a man of high honour to sacrifice such a wonderful piece of bodywork

MaximWorks 4-2-1 is in with the powdercoaters for a ceramic layer or two. I have one of these following a visit to Vindi Russel a while ago.
Dropped into Performance 1 in Abingdon about getting it coated before I think about fitting it.
Which type of coating/colour did you go for, how much was it and how is it performing?
How about internal coating, is that worth it? I read somewhere that it helps but can't recall where.

two coats of the black cerakote glacier stuff. I think it made a few HP difference :-) made 10 more HP over the 4-1 I had...
internal coating probably helps more than external

Only just seen this thread. Lovely engine bay, as said. Bet she is a bit of a screamer The front nose looks pretty large and deep from the side angle. Ever thought about adding side skirts to blend it all together?

Ever thought about adding side skirts to blend it all together? That shot makes it look a bit worse than it is lol. I've never seen any skirts I would want to put on a mk1 ... and I have an aversion to anything but front and rear bumper changes on the mk1s. some cool front bumpers (s2, aizawa etc), standard bumper with a cut on the rear. What I *have* considered is painting the black stonechip white, which should lower the obvious side parts of the car. See the actual RS Aizawa car rocking the bumper... and notice they're not rocking sideskirts, they've just painted the whole car including the sill stonechip the same shade of green. That or I could get the lower part of the front bumper modded and/or darkened... hnnmmmm. Even a bit of black wrap on the edges of the front would make a difference, but it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers others.

An even better shot of that Aizawa demo car...

Ah yes those colour coded sides work a treat. Although not so practical I guess.

Anyone know what that turquoise paint code is?
Today I'm feeling it for a bright colour for the future. Other times, I'm in the mood for Porsche Sport Classic Grey, rather than Miami Blue.

Aqua is a very hard colour to show on a monitor. Even if you Google Porsche Miami Blue... Some look green while others look lego brick blue. Sunny days tend to add more yellow to a shot. Cool mountain shots look cold blue. Bit of a tricky one really.
