Are the lights manually adjusted to that height once they are fitted? by unplugging and effectively rendering them fixed?
A spoiler would finish it off nice, you've got the most expensive bits out of the way!

A spoiler would finish it off nice, you've got the most expensive bits out of the way! They act as normal, open and close, flash to pass and the winking when you mash the pop up button. They basically have a shorter bar connect to the motor so they don't open as far and there is a frame bolts where the original headlight is to make the new headlight point the right way. Very simple and very effective.

I've got so much bodywork envy for this car. Same colour as mine but actually in good nick. Looks great!
Brave call on changing from the gold BBS, but then again, those Enkeis... I don't think I could've choosen between them. Both look spot on.

I don't think I could've choosen between them. Both look spot on. Pictures hide a lot! Id invite you to come see it in person and find a panel that isn't damaged some way. But it's driven every day and is old so it will never be perfect. It was a hard choice between them and I did get a lot of grief for selling them but I want the car to be more track of a track day car so the heavy blingy bbs had to go.

Get ready for a really boring post. So I've had a number plate light out for ages and I acquired some Tailgate McNoIndicate led number plate lamps which I've been meaning to retrofit for ages. When it finally came to fitting them, didn't need to do any cutting chopping or bodgery. So I just removed the original lamps and the Tailgate McNoIndicate ones clip perfectly into the hole in the number plate panel. Soldered some wires and hey presto I had some quality lights. Boring post over. Got way to excited over this.

long time since i last posted and lots has happened, not all to the car. Purchased my first home with my girlfriend and have got myself my dream job! So about the car... whilst commuting to the new job had a small issue and the thermostat housing broke, already "repaired" it once so decided this time it would need replacing. So whilst doing this might as well do a cambelt and water pump, it is about to hit 100,000 miles after all... Here it is in pieces (just outside its new garage) I was worried the cambelt would be a bit tired, should of been the waterpump i was worried about. Im amazed that this even kept the car cool! new one for reference... second hand stat housing painted and fitted, along with the pump and belt. and no picture of it back together for some reason, definitely works though here it is tucked up in the garage... https://www.instagram.com/p/BSq8uIEBbqh so next thing to do on the list, i got some hel braided brake lines for christmas and have a spare set of calipers. decided to refurb the calipers stripped painting painted and new seals fitted, now just need to find time to get them on the car thats all for now

Saw this at Japfest on the show and shine in 2015, loved it. Had NO idea it was the same car when I was in love with it at Jap Performance last year. Strength to strength. Glad I'm not the only one with a snapped thermostat housing. Also congrats on the house and dream job

So spent some time in the garage this week getting some small jobs done. I had a photo shoot for total mx5 magazine, it was a surprise and not planned in the slightest. When I got the photos back there were somethings in the pictures I feel let the car down so that's what I've been working on. So first thing, neatened up my air intake. Got rid of the funny welded bracket in place of something more simple and tidied the wiring. Think it makes a massive difference. Next up, although you can't see this in the mag photos it needed doing. I finished off the a/c delete. All that was left was the box inside the cabin, so removed that excess weight and replaced it with the oem pipe and some sick duct tape. After that, the wheel nuts were looking a bit prarrie canoe. All the red coating was coming off and they were starting to rust so got a new set. Slightly noticeable in this picture, this is just after a wax using some JUGA. Very nice hard wax that's easy to use. And today is father's day, went over to my bros for a nice family bbq. My brother got a new air filter for his supercharged vx220, so as with his clothes used to, got the old filter handed down to me. It's a nice ramair unit that is HUUUUUGE, it only just fits! Gives an impressive indication noise too. Other than that just been driving and and enjoying the car a lot. Taken to work every day this week as it's so hot, no hard top or soft top! Talking of work, here is something I've been working on lately... http://instagram.com/p/BVfmUr8gGOq

So I mentioned in my last post about a mag feature, well here it is. A two page spread! Really happy with the article, and Brett was nice chap to talk to. Think is done a good job. Here is two of the pictures he sent me from the shoot, like I mentioned before it was a chance meeting so the car wasn't as clean as it could of been. Hope he doesn't mind me sharing them but all credit goes to him.
