I tried planning out the wiring, but I didn't realise how high the glove-box actually goes. I hope I never need to get in about it all to chase faults. Yeah here's hoping, if I can get it going NA on the ECU I think I might be past one of the biggest challenges, then injectors, then the Turbo kit. On a side not, managed to pick up second hand unfitted BOFI intercooler kit, comes with a Forge BOV and the intercooler. I think the only things left to get are: oil feed line (not keen on pulling it from the oil filter), injectors cleaned, new coolant lines and heat shield, studs for turbo exhaust side. Studs fit in the manifold, think I'll need to chase the threads before I screw them in properly. Kit came with some Heldite which I think is for using on the studs. Fwiw I used a g19 oil feed, connected to the block under the heater hoses. I seem to recall from somewhere in this thread that you have the same feed position?
It p-clips onto the cam cover bolts so it's nice and tidy...

Yes checked I had it, then panicked that wasn't the case after looking at all the other kits that pull from the filter location (BOFI).
Had forgotten about G19, I'll take a look, get some P-Clips on order as well. Thanks for the halp!

Don’t know if you’ve got it but on some MK1s there’s an oil plug on the exhaust side of the block towards the back & above the sump join. I put an oil take off at the weekend on the back of the head below the exhaust cam on a mk2.5. Zed. will be able to say if you might have this plug as it’ll be the easiest option.

Yeah that's the route I'm going, had a daft moment and thought that won't work as it's not shown in any of the kits I was looking at at the time. I'll crank it over before I connect it to prove it out just in case. But the G19/BlackCat line both connect there. It was all the BOFI lines that went to the filter location. Facebook brigade were moaning about back of the head supply, starving the head of oil pressure.

Yes but some people don't deal in facts Tried quickly to mock up the studs in the manifold now I had both in the same place, 3 studs are fine but it looks like when they drilled the bottom left, they[d just returned from a pub lunch....it's ever so slightly out, but just enough to stop it fitting on IMG_20220118_184205 by Scott Reid, on Flickr So I'm going to try thread it in see if I can get it pointed in a better direction and/or lightly notch the turbo hot side hole to accommodate. The other 3 studs are find thankfully. IMG_20220118_184136 by Scott Reid, on Flickr Squint one closest to the camera. I hope it doesn't' fight me all the way!

also look at drilling it out one size larger or using a round file :-)
