I am amazed that you chose to ignore the state of that calliper. It didn’t show up on normal road driving & as the forecast was for rain, knew that I wouldn’t be pushing the car on the brakes.

Went to Pembrey at the weekend for a double header sprint. Drove down Friday afternoon in convoy with my brother in his 5 & met up with Zed. for a chat in the evening. Pembrey is just my kind of circuit- you can really build speed thru a series of corners& lean on the car pretty hard. Managed pretty well in my entered class as there wasn’t one for Classic Marques, so I was in with quite a mix of ‘roadgoing over 2000cc’. Some of which were pretty dubious I thought, but hey ho, just crack on. Managed to keep ahead of a 450hp NC who unfortunately started to melt his cam cover & had to pull out after lunch. The very well driven Alfa 4C won deservedly so as it was bloody quick, in the separate CM sub competition , I won both days beating some quite quick cars. I guess it’s the nut behind the wheel..... Sorry there’s no video, I just went to download it & the bloody thing didn’t work....

Good stuff Howard, I was keeping an eye on times, I was supposed to be back sprinting at this one, but car not ready, hopefully soon I can give you and the CM boys some trouble again saw you on there, looks like you did quite well, was really interested to see how Pekkas went, it was a shame for him to have a failure as he is quite handy.

Hello Sandy, I was looking at your vids as it was my 1st time there. Yeah, I think Pekkas was worried about another fire- his cam cover was starting to shrivel & deform so he called it a day on the turbo car, came back in his other NC on Sunday which is rapid too.

His other NC was stock, he's just rapid When he gets that Turbo reliable it is going to be a beast. Good track Pembrey, only been there once, will definitely be on the list to do again.

It’s got the same suspension as mine 😉 Hope you get your car done soon so you can come & chuck a spanner in the works. 👍🏻

Haha, talk about fitting the image you have of someone from just a few internet ramblings. Garage stained & ripped jeans and a beard were exactly what I would expect from Zed Rich.
