Just looked at scores, it is incredibly close and you are both quick at Combe, you did beat him at DMS though which bodes well if weather is good and you keep it on the black stuff, good luck.

So, in preparation for this season’s activities, spent the afternoon at Northampton Motorsport getting the suspension tuned. We decided that the ride height was too low as I hit loads of speed bumps, in fact scrape on must things really, so we increased the front by 10 & the rear by 5mm. It still has a rake though. Then the cornerweighting managed to achieve diagonal % of 49.9 & 50.1 from 46.93 & 53.07 so the car should feel massively more balanced when the grip goes. Finally the geo; the guys recon that there’s too much understeer set up so they went with 2.0 & 2.5 camber, 0 toe front & 0.06’ rear, 5.5’ caster. The guys really appreciated me lubricating all the bolts & threads a few days ago as nothing was seized or broken...

Just caught up with this, looks like you're set for the season.
What sort of power is the car running at the moment, and how far can you go power / setup wise staying in the same category/ series?

Russell It’s a power to weight series for any sports car so the class is pretty free on mods as long as it’s declared. The only things it has to have the original engine type, no sequential boxes, no 4wd, no bike engines.

IL Motorsport exhaust centre section fitted that I got from Jon & whilst I had space, I did the polybush diff void fillers.
The exhaust sounds fractionally basier & the gearlever feels like it moves hardly at all under acceleration & deceleration. The big test will be a full bore standing start.

I've seen these mentioned on US forums, hopefully you can give a review of their effectiveness Rich.

Nice - all about stiffening the chassis to allow the suspension to work properly!
