Bugatti Chiron just smashed past 300mph. is there anywhere it can be driven to it's potential? Rich.

Fwiw I'm fairly positive that v6 has the more enjoyable power/car. Mine eats gearboxes š, hopefully less with transmission cooling. But above that, the engine mounts I have to run makes the car a bit .... Uncomfortable with the hard top on. Now v6's car should be smooth, fast and sound good. Thats not saying I don't like mine. I overtake zr-1's and gallardos on track, that is a lot of fun. But our cars are built for different purposes And yes, in the wet 408nm atw needs more grip than availiable in any gear. Boost by throttle is a lifesaver.

I agree, probably far relaxing to drive. Are you running the solid / poly mounts? I've got the Supermiata hybrid mounts and you get a bit more vibration / NVH than the mazdaspeed ones, but they aren't totally unusable on the street (apart from something rattling behind my dash at about 1500RPM which is driving me bonkers!)

Using awr/supermiata 80(?)duro. Not to bad without the hardtop. But with it, resonance chamber...
V6 I couldn't overtake it on the straight, but was a lot quicker through the corners.
Really cool cars. Monster sound.

This is what I love about the 5, it can be a real giant killer in the right hands. Not that I'm the right hands!

I love loads of different cars for all different reasons.
Ours sure do seem to be amazing fun and good value compared to some though.

Oh wow, this should be FAST FAST! I can't wait to see some videos of it going! Did you use superFastMiata j series swap kit for this? Also, what are the plans with the car, any competitions?

Peekaboo! V6 has said I can upload the pics - looks awesome! Something based on an L200 vent over the top of the cutout is being considered to make it a bit more subtle, lol: I think it looks nicely mental as it is but security / subtlety may be more suitable for use as a daily! Do we know if it's a high pressure or low pressure area over the bonnet? (therefore whether forward-facing or rear-facing vent/scoop would be better?) I imagine it's a high pressure area, but I'm not sure if anyone's ever done an aerodynamic assessment of the car!
