A clear cover gets you the same look with practicality, tape some tupperware over it as a mock up On a serious note I love a ducktail, is it just a standard rear?

It was going on my standard mk1 - see the pics of it's new rear panel in here recently. My boot brake light was converted into a fog light so I don't have that horrid lump hanging from the bumper. So the ducktail curves around this boot light.

I made an aluminium bridge which angles up and down over the bonnet curve, bolted down between the brackets. This will be hidden shortly. I will attach a black alloy trim piece to this. The idea is to hide the mounting brackets from view, plus create a low dam on the bottom 1/3. This will stop any water droplets running down into the large engine bay hole. Once the cover is all finished and painted 3L Mazda Silver and bolted down, all this will be sealed with silicone.

Cheers. When the final paint is done I will seal it off with a fine silicone gasket. Then the hairline gaps here and there will be gone. Should do the job.

Just wondering - do you know what your bonnet struts are? My intake has a remarkable knack of being right in the way of my bonnet support stick thing so having struts would remove the need for it.

Have you tried bending your bonnet strut?

Have you tried bending your bonnet strut? Tricky by hand but not impossible, but I do have a Jackson Racing intake to go on, which will get in the way of the bonnet strut even more, so bonnet lifters would fix the issue now and later!

Bonnet finished. Aside from some minor cosmetic fluffing at some stage - a spot of T-Cut and sorting a few small blemishes. That can wait for the spring.
Left to do:
Mount my satnav
Fit some black carpet over the transmission tunnel. Currently it's insulation / acoustic foam there.
The service / brakes / idle to be done.

That looks spot on, quite subtle now. Add videos to your list

Will do. Once the idle is tweaked at Hybrid I will make some vids.
Re: "Subtle". It all depends on the angle and lighting. Sometimes it blends ok. Other times with strong shadows etc it looks less subtle. However it does the job and that's the main thing. Form follows function. The sound is far from subtle so the cosmetics are neither here nor there in comparison really

I am ordering an upgraded clutch pressure plate as tested on track with 280-300bhp cars in USA...
Link:
To suit a Honda Civic Si year 2000
___
(To go with the current standard kit Exedy clutch disc model MZD010U).
This will be swapped to allow multiple full bore accelerations without the slip I occasionally get when it's hot.
