七転び八起き Nana korobi ya oki.
"Fall down seven times, get up eight"After the loss of My Previous Eunos (RIP) due to fire, I needed to keep myself busy with another in order to keep spirits high. After a week of searching the web, rust buckets, drift pigs, overpriced scrap etc. I managed to jump fast enough to secure a first viewing on a MK1 1800 Eunos local to me. The seller seemed like a real genuine guy; I viewed the next day and was able to view the vehicle on a 4 poster ramp. I was amazed to find an original inner and outer sill'd, very low mileage example that was well within budget. 8 Days after I lost my first, I had bought my second. Lots to do - Really want to make it my own. Modifications are as follows: New Miester R's, Cobra seat, Luke harness, Momo wheel & boss, TR Lane bolt in bar, Mo-hair roof, Jackson Racing intake, Alarm and Immobiliser, Jass chassis braces, unknown brand backbox. I've done a few things already, and will update when I organise photos. Until then, Crumpets.

I'm not sure, I doubt it as he posted it on Friday night to get some feelers and I pounced within 12 mins and secured a viewing 9AM Sat morn haha. I moved so quick he was still debating selling it as i gave him the cash and drove away on Saturday.

2. Initial personalisation
Very Pic Heavy!
It didn't take long to change it to the vision I had. Moss TSI's purchased and installed. 7" Landrover defender LED switchback and Xenon headlights purchased, fettled and installed. During installation of the lights KG Works spoiler (Made by CarbonMiata) purchased and installed. I had enough spare Rota BM8's to make a pair of 8j for the front and 9j for the back, just needed new tyres on the rear. Starting to look how I want now... - I'm not sure when along the line but I tinted the reflectors from and rear also.
I decided to sell my MK2 Golf that I have had for the last few years in order to fund the build and re-tooling myself. It was a difficult decidion to make, but out of it I have purchased tools for me to get by, as well as a full turbo kit and a HKS Super Drager exhaust.
I developed a misfire, so replaced the plugs with NGK BKR7E gapped to .8mm in anticipation for boost. Runs sweeeeeet now. I also did the taillight ring mod. So cheap to do but transforms the rear end.
That's all so far. Sorry that it's so photo heavy, lots to update you with.
Until next time,
Crumpets

Looking good! What is the tail light ring mod??! I'd be interested to see a picture of the beam pattern on those lights, if you'd be happy/willing to drive up to a light coloured wall and take a picture lol My MOT man said my current LED lights that don't have a very distinct cut-off (but I've never been flashed) won't go through this year...

Thanks wannabe ! The tail light ring mod is taking the lights apart and adding a 80mm red LED ring where the circular reflector is, and then adapting the loom for this to be your tail lights. Its a real easy and cheap mod to do that transforms the rear end of the car in my opinion. I'm still yet to get my car into work and use the beam pattern machine to adjust them, but they seem okay although very bright. I don't drive the car all too much at night so its not a huge problem for me.
