feels weird having a car nearly, almost finished the way I wanted it. Good thing you've got more than one to carry on the obsession eh?

Took it to Somerset to get it serviced so swapped it for my cool car (998 Mini) for a week
Which subsequently blew its headgasket ... so I drove home in a DERV rover 45 ... not exactly an inspiring swap for the Mazda ...

took it for an overpriced mot
it failed on the bloody foglight..
I've bought a replacement foglight from the nearby motor factors - but it isn't the bulb, it is something in the wiring, seemingly.
at least the retest is free.
then got told the alignment they could do would damage my alloys....
so had to take it elsewhere for that.
the only reason I took it to these fckers was for the alignment, MOT was just a nice to have done at the same time thing (I'd get it done elsewhere usually)
derp!

That's poop! Fizbne advised me to go to Garth Road MOT and they were pretty good. Pictures of MX5's on the wall etc

Let us know how you get on with alignment. Gf's car needs it doing soon and i would get my dad to do it but every time he does mine it comes out steering to the left

I browsed eBay for 5s and my trusty £250 rover passed it's mot with a blank advisory list!!

Jacked the rear up to try replicate the clunk I sometimes get. Kinda sounds like my u-joint on the drive shaft is buffered. Also got stickers!

Made a bracket to flip the throttle cable 180°, so the cable will be much easier to route, and half the length of the current one.

Fabbed up a dinky little bracket to relocate some cans to the charcoal canister holder thingy.
