Just put it in for it's MOT, I'm skeptical it'll start as had a mare last night trying to get it to restart after a run, so been through and adjusted the TB/Idle screw. I've no idea how this'll go!

As I am off work with Covid I took the Eunos out for a spot of Autotuning with the laptop as a passenger. We have a very long fairly steep hill which is about 1.5 miles long and almost straight which is ideal for tuning under load its a 60 Mph road with a couple of farms and smallholdings on it with vitually no other traffic. It is about 150 metres of elevation change. I did three runs starting at 30 mph to hunt down the areas that it went weak when I opened the throttle and held it at various revs in second and third gear. Working up to 60 Mph on this road is plenty for tuning purposes most of the work was done at 45 to 50 MPH looking at 2500 to 6500 rpm and 10 to 70 percent throttle.
The car felt a lot smoother and better on the drive home and would pull from 30 mph in fifth gear on the flat. I left the Go Pro at home !!! Perhaps another time. !!

Had the last navigational rally of the season on Saturday night, a 20/20 event (20 cars, 20 controls) across Kent, about 100 miles altogether. My navigator was a novice at the start of the season but we did too well on the 12 Car rallies so we were Semi-experts for this - got all the navigation to open at our start time and plot on the move. (Experts got the same navigation in individual envelopes per section, Novices got the same navigation to plot 35 mins before their start time, Beginners got a marked map to copy onto their own). We missed one code board (didn't see it) and one control (didn't plot correctly) and lost 22 mins overall, which was a good effort for Andy's first plot and bash. We finished 14th overall, 4th semi-expert out of 8 in the class. More importantly it was great fun! We'll be semi-experts for the next 12 Car season starting in September.

a good effort for Andy's first plot and bash getting to the finish is always a result, you'd be suprised how many class1 navs make mistakes! & have a pencilcase full of ALL the coloured pens & pencils - but thats another story pnb is fun wait till you enter with 3 maps... marked-maps is soooooooo much easier Rich.

Fixed the bodged-in washer switch that had loose connections (as apparently having to turn on the wipers before you can pull the stalk to operate the washers means an MOT fail so a whole separate switch had to be fitted that is a total PITA to juggle with the wipers on the road) Fitted new wipers Lubed my rubbers (fnar) with that Honda silicone grease to try and stop the roof leaking onto the seats when it rains Swapped my LED headlights that actually let me see but don't have a sharp cut off line for the 1-lumen OEM sealed units that have an even worse pattern but are apparently what is needed to pass the MOT Confirmed my exhaust is blowing at the manifold/downpipe gasket Cleared out all the crap from the footwells Checked all the lights work Wondered why one reversing light wasn't working but then switched itself on when the foglight finally apparently warmed itself up like a tube setup and turned on Wondered if a foglight held on with zip ties will pass an MOT Re-secured the battery clamp Checked the aux belt didn't look like it was going to break on the next journey before I can get the alternator with the worn-and-now-wonky bracket changed and the belt replaced Opened the tool box to find it looked like I had retrieved it from the bottom of the sea, thanks to the leaking boot and then forgetting everything in it would be sitting in water Spent ages trying to get the rust off the sockets etc.

Seeing as I am sat in a hotel in West Palm Beach at the companys expensive.
I only found out about the trip last thursday so the only seats were buisness class (HA HA )
I have just ordered a set of 85mm Wossner 12.1 piston to be delivered to the hotel. $678 including shipping so about £539. ( Hand Baggage on the way home )
The current company car on hire in the USA is a bright red Mustang fastback.
At least its rear wheel drive.

Hi Folks, The 85mm Wossner Pistons arrived at the hotel this morning I was getting a bit worried that they might not arrive before I head back to Blighty. I emailed Wossner and got a reply within 30 mins giving me all the tracking info which told me they were in hotel reception. Ordered them Friday PM local time and arrived the following Wednesday. Previous attempt from UK source, ordered and paid for in December still not arrived the following April !!! so had the ordered cancelled and refunded. They are cheaper to buy from the USA, Uk stock comes from Wossner Germany So at least some good has come out of my work trip to Florida !!! Cheers Dickie
