Drove it. Had my mate in his Tailgate McNoIndicate with 4 friends (girls) in the car shouting at him for trying to keep up with me on the country roads. Made me lol when we stopped. Apparently they were pissed at me for setting the pace. How was I supposed to know one of the gfs had a accident as a tween and scared of cars? I think scared girl needs to go on a driver training course to get some confidence! Although I've not seen your mate drive so perhaps it's justified terror lol (And IME, getting trained just makes one even more nervous of being passenger because one notices more faults in the driver lol) I have to say I've slowed right down in the '5 when compared to my previous cars and the missus' current car - I think it's the slightly iffy steering, the suspension that threatens to bounce the car off into the scenery on every bump, and my lack of experience with RWD... lol An acute awareness that there is nothing but your own (lack of) talent to save you does make you think twice!

Took the turbo back to the body shop for a final clean-up of the new paint. Took them 15 minutes to sort it. And yes that is a replica.

Tried to get my idle sorted to OEM-levels on the ME221 by Dai/Valley5s. Turns out mine is from an early batch that doesn't drive the 1.6's ICV perfectly. Will get ME to help fix it.

Replaced the bypass hosenon Bambi
Or at least i attempted to, but having cuts on both hands following trying to prise two fighting dogs apart, i had to defer to my dad as usual in car matters
Also, alloy rad means now i have to remove the top rad hose to remove the part of the crossover pipe that goes into the throttle body
This is why JRCAI is all the win

Fizbne advised me to go to Garth Road MOT and they were pretty good. Pictures of MX5's on the wall etc I know Garth road well my next MOT will go there. Also found a decent hunter four wheel alignment place on the A23 too with attachments that don't canoe alloys. "Top Marks Tyres" I'm a bit late to the party but yeah they're very good. Not after your money, like a certain few garages in the area, they just want your car through the MOT and the owner knowsMX5's well, he races in BRSCC for speed and honour.
