After about 2 weeks of painfully trying to ignore the fact my steering sounded like a moaning cougar ( in both senses ) finally topped the bastard up with ATF and now quiet not jerky steering can continue

Checked the oil and water, wiped the windows off, drove it for an hour with the roof down The oil looks to be at Max but the oil pressure is below 1bar on hot idle, so clearly it does need more oil, as that usually brings it back up to 1bar! Bloody thing...

Weirdly my r-ltd 'appears' to have a proper moving oil pressure gauge? Didn't think that was a thing on later 5s?
Anyway today fitted winter wheels and hardtop roof liner (I have a spare slightly too small one I will be selling cheap lol)
Just got a fit jass hardtop brackets now - any tips? I assume it requires two people to install it tightly?

You sure that's what it means ? That is all it's allowed to be... lol Short Nose Crank means I can't change the oil pump, so it's not allowed to fail!! Pressure does rise with more oil in it, and it does need a service so it's probably a bit thinner as well, so will get it serviced and cross my fingers!

Last night I fitted my Raydyot mirrors, still need some adjustment and a little tightening on the pivot point, but they look so much better. Opted for the spun aluminium versions, but they'll be off to be painted soon.
Visibility is prarrie canoee, but will get used to it. Sold as having convex glass, but must've missed the memo on this particular set.

I’ll grab some pictures tomorrow, little time today. They came with mounting plates that use the existing holes, but they were unpainted ali, so ordered some black Jass ones to keep the green and black theme going.
