Last drove mine on Sunday, it was quite cold but nice 'n snuggly in the car with the heater cranked up and me woolly 'at pulled down over me ears. Still refuse to put my hood up no matter how cold it gets - hardcore me Love this car, needs a good wash now though. I'm just about to send off to the U.S for a pair of pukka track rod ends for it, the proper ones for the RS Ltd and a few other Ltd models. They're not available in the UK so it'll be interesting to see if they cure the bit of bump steer the car has - hope so, they cost enough I could have got them cheaper but I know one or two people who have used this guy with no probs. I'll post up how it goes.

I'll have to go looking for it next time it's outside. Yes I was really pleased with how the tacho turned out, it has the RS logo in the same blue as the car so it's a kind of reverse of the wing badges. Not the best shot of it but you get the idea

Attempted to find the ridiculous leak in my power steering that means I have to fill it completely every other day/100miles.. Also coolant change, window weather/rubber strips off my old car on, and took the heatsheild off the cat to stop it rattling (which its been doing for 7 months..) Reasonably productive day, wish I'd had time to finally put my Bilstiens and MS springs on though. Up next, possibly a double din CarPlay unit (for my 1 working speaker lol) cos black friday, and I like my license

Only £99 now ( ) www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-pioneer-mvhav180_p-40020.htm#

Finished turning it in to a hover car. Time to call a scrappy. That’s sad. End of an era albeit no an overly long one compared to Bugsy and Tallulah. What have you got to replace it?

Going to put the cash in to re-roofing the garage and turning it in to a nice place to be. Then I think I might get a cheap track car and learn to drive for a bit. We’ll see. Lots to do on the Stagea so I won’t be bored!

Spent some time cleaning up the Zoom fuel cap I got ages ago, has pretty bad oxidisation all round, especially on the "bowl" part where it's gotten under the surface to bare metal - I think I might get this part powder coated gloss black and keep the rest bright metal. Thoughts? Before: MX5 NA 04/12/2017 by Scott Reid, on Flickr After: MX5 NA 04/12/2017 by Scott Reid, on Flickr
