Finally might have some door speakers that aren't knackered. Gonna try and test fit one in the works carpark tomorrow lunchtime.

Trying to research how to fix current mohair roof's heated rear window that's got broken connections on the glass (as well as mould and rusty fittings)....scratching my head as this isn't a normal issue, guy on local mx5 group posts mk2.5 mohair roof with glass HRW for £90.00 "perfect condition, just a little dirty"....yes please!

Jump started it then we drove along lots of nice twisties around the flatlands of East Yorkshire. On the way back we found that top down with heaters full on and snow is fine - as long as you are not stationary at junctions!

Snow and drizzle are great for driving in, I love hearing the sounds of the tyres and the water on the road!

Took it over to Penarth for the day and the Saturday Club. Coilovers fitted, alignment bolts all checked over, and a bit of a tidy up under the bonnet. Cheers to Mark and the crew for a very productive day

I kinda wish I still had my rusty silver mk2.5 for said salty and snowy duties.

I replaced an anti theft device with a £2.99 battery earth connection and cured my starting issues. Wish I’d done it a couple of years back and saved myself several hundred pounds and a load of grief. I give you the offending part:

I'm using Richbrook's Dis-car-Nects on all mycars, which looks very similar to this, not had any starting issues tho. If I ever do I'll try going direct.

^^ Yeah I feel such a twat as I was thinking about changing it ages ago however the symptoms were pointing to starter failure or starter ring issues.
