Good stuff. How close did they get the corner weights? New coilovers compliant enough on the road then?
I've decided I'm definately upgrading, using the kerbs at a recent trackday on a sprint track I've not done before I found I was bottoming out the shocks.

I've decided I'm definately upgrading, using the kerbs at a recent trackday on a sprint track I've not done before I found I was bottoming out the shocks. The corner weights were pretty well balanced & weight distribution 50%/50% diagonally. I set the shocks in the middle of the adjustment but the front was too soft so I wound them 5 clicks harder which was too hard so backed off a couple, then another 1 on both fronts & there’s still plenty of adjustment left in them. Am at 12 from full hard. I was a little concerned with the massive increase in spring rates ruining the ride but actually didn’t need to worry- it’s as good if not better than before plus the rears don’t bottom out. |

Was doing a bit of pre MOT poking around & the sill that I’d meant to repair was looking a bit crusty..... Got busy with the wire brush and the result was pretty bad.  |

Wow, your welding skills improved pretty fast.....  I presume thats everything cut out now? Its painful having to do these but feels great when you know they are done mind. |
