So I washed it for the first time in... A long time. Needs a polish or preferably a full repaint. But at least it looks nice when dark, from far, if drunk

Changed pads on this. New hawk dtc-60 all around. In need of besiktning (MOT). Slowly tinkering with the cx build in between work and kids. Its probably ready 2024. The thing made is a spacer instead of the speedo drive since Im going electronic there. The car looks tha same

An entire year, and that's what we get?...

Almost 😂 Well, the car has no changes. It's black, fast and I still drive it too little due to the kids. But any year now I'll be able to get back to trackdays and such

Well, this happened. Because I need more toys. But this is easier to park at work than the toyster. And faster 0-100 km/h (but slower to 200, not that I want to do 200 on a naked bike)

I swear there's nothing quite as auto-erotic as a naked bike. Makes a 'Speedster' car look meh.

I agree. But I have love for almost everything powerful and light.
I changed to the oem silencer from the G.P.R that the p.o. put on. Apart from losing something like 8db it also got deeper and growlier, just as i like it. The Delkevic gives it a lot more growl than oem. oh, headphones needed.
This thread may start to include cars again eventually ;D

Clean MOT for the Toyster. Frightened father and father in law on b-roads. It is however sweating a little water at the water pump, can't be bothered to fix it.

Having a loved one stamping on the non-existent brake pedal is one of life’s great delights.

How are the Hawk pads? I like the HP+, excellent bite from cold, but perhaps a little snatchy when grip is low - which could be interesting on a bike... lol

Good bite hot, reasonable bite when cold. However it it quite easy to lock the passenger side front, especially on street tires. That is more my modulating though. I would like a similar or the same compound on the bike when the time comes.

Other thing update. When I bought the Z it came with clipons. I rode with them for some time, but yesterday I decided to change to a low-isch handlebar. A wide one. Lower thar the oem handlebar, but way higher and wider than the clipons. It used to look like this The difference between clipons and bar. Bar on and clipons removed Cons with the change: a little less feeling at fast turn ins due to less weight on front wheel and torso further back. More wind on the chest, pushing me at higher speeds. Pros: everything else. Much less effort riding, better ergonomics, easier to relax arms and since there is a little less wind on the helmet, slightly quieter. I am happy

Well, me and the older kid went out for a drive. Car is great albeit noisy as always. My trans cooling setup blows the fuse to the pumps and will not run the fans at all. Sigh.
I'll get to it sometime during the winter. Maybe. Hopefully I'll have time to get back to track driving next year, so it will be needed.

I'm getting bored with my Tailgate McNoIndicate and its constant maintenance in the way of bits falling off or breaking in other ways.
Looking at my vehicle fleet, consisting of two cx500's, the toyster and my z900rs, I figure that the e91 will be changed to an x350 xjr / super v8.
Seems to fill the gap pretty well. Should I or should I not? Speak now, or forever hold your peace. 😁

the Xjr base model was equiped with the Aj30 3.0L. v6, a lovely engine with ~240hp (& also easily fitted in an Mx5!) but the other end of the scale had the 4.2L supercharged v8 & I've a soft spot for that unfortunately if you buy a used car you buy someone else's problems.... I do fancey an Aj30 in a mk1 Mx5 and coincedintly have a 'spare' 1990 car (but no time ) Rich.
