Sounds like a ball ache to essentially get some rotors and pads on, I'm guessing you couldn't just get the supplier persuaded to fix their mistake? Might need to rethink my pad situation at some point too, the Rodders pads are great but the dust might prove to be a problem with the new wheels as theres no information on what composition the pads are made of. Hmm. Any news on the cams for the white car? Cams 'on their way from jdmland' to a drop-shipping joint in France. re: brake hats - getting it fixed by the supplier meant shipping it back to Blighty and the customs process is a PITA even for returns. all that to shift 1.3mm of material ? :-) Makes you think twice, as I did. Bedding in was very dusty (and I've washed it off with decent cleaner) but ... will be doing a 4 hr journey tomorrow to BCN and I'll know how dusty or not the BP10 is after that. I'm quite happy with the Rodders on the other car.

BCN journey is done, braking is fine. there's a slight noise at 140kph but over that it seems to clear up. I'm gonna order a dial indicator anyway :-) I need one in my life now. No judder or vibration on light or heavy braking. I've also got a real machinist contact now if I need one - a friend's dad, and he can rebore the centres and make up a machined centering ring. I might match the corrado spec bore since that's a known factor and I already have a set of centering rings. But based on the drive I just did I don't think I'll need it..... ...... .....

Machinist looked over my lightweight brakes and no problems there he recons.
Passed the ITV
Treated it to a new set of front indicator clusters. <B and a new set of headlights.
Old clusters will go into the broken RSA bumper so they've got something to repair around.

I've removed the recirculation setup and switched to an ITG filter (76 to 57 neck down to the turbo) - the old green filter had seen better days!!
It's a massive filter, barely fits, but it should give good performance.
Stu Stu sounds are now being copied by my boy.
Also found a load of the vacuum hoses of the boost control system were cracked beyond a joke. Replacing them has reduced the non-boost-controlled performance showing that they were keeping the wastegate closed artificially like a bleed valve. ffs....

Oh dear. I was out playing with the boost control settings and had just made some headway when...
the exedy clutch gave up the goat. at about 12 psi boost. she slips. she slaps. she's had her chips.
You'd think 'exedy stage 2 cerametallic' would be rated to decent torque but it turns out it's less than 200lb-ft. PAFETIC.
I have a spare skuzzle clutch though, and I've been eager to ditch this exedy for years, since the feel has been .. erm, disgusting ,frankly. 1/5 wouldn't recommend.

Had the very same experience with an Exedy clutch when mine was supercharged. Fitted a Skuzzle clutch & it’s put up with loads of abuse.
